I aim to educate people & promote Aboriginal culture in an ethical way to ensure the worlds oldest culture continues to thrive with a positive influence, continuing our culture for the next generations to come.

Art & culture workshops

Facilitating Private lessons, small groups, daycares, schools, community groups, organisations, festivals & events. I demonstrate on a level for the ability & ages of the students involved. I guide them through the stages of selecting a theme, choosing colours & applying techniques to produce their own original art piece. They will learn about art techniques and application, traditional symbols & their meanings, totems, Dreamtime stories & how they relate to the everyday life of Aboriginal people. I can provide all materials if required such as, but not limited to - canvases, boomerangs, clapsticks, lucky stones, murals, paints & utensils.

Culture demonstrations

I provide a range of artwork, traditional tools & implements & talk about their uses, how they were made & engage the participants with questions. Providing a hands on learning experience, participants test their own knowledge & thinking of how it would be to survive in Australia’s harsh climate.

Cultural/art installation guidance & community projects

Working closely with galleries and community groups to ensure art installations, community projects and products are culturally appropriate.

By Artist only or working with others. From design consultation to completion with all materials supplied.
