Brett "Billyara" Parker has been teaching Aboriginal art and culture for 27 years.
He works on a step by step basis to suit the needs and ages of the students involved.
He guides them through the stages of selecting a theme, choosing colours and applying techniques to produce their own original art piece.
They learn about symbols, totems and Dreamtime stories and how they relate to the everyday life of Aboriginal people.
Billyara has worked with a number of galleries, schools, community groups & organisations during his career as an artist.
